***This is just a reminder for dog owners to keep their dogs on a leash when walking down a street, or in a park.***

I am saying this because...

My dog is dog aggressive. We were walking down the street when a grey energetic puppy comes tearing off around the corner and JUMPS on my DOG AGGRESSIVE dog! My dog will and has been known to bite other dogs, so she was NOT happy! Her mouth was open, and she bit the dog (not hard), but just enough to say "BACK OFF!". After the grey puppy is galloping in circles around us, the owners come running after the dog yelling "Nancy! Nancy! Come!"

Guess what? The dog wasn't listening! So I have a dog aggressive dog sitting by my side barking like crazy at the little grey Australian Shepherd running in and out of traffic with its crazy owners chasing after it.

What a pretty picture! Finally, the owners manage to take control of their dog, afterwards they tell me "Don't worry my dog doesn't bite."

My mouth dropped open...I just walked away, like whatever. I should've said "Well you are lucky...my German Shepherd spared your dog's life." My dog could've ripped that measly puppy to shreads, but she chose not to- for that I was proud of her.

So just letting people know, there are dog aggressive dogs out there (that are completely sweet to humans!), walking on the street. To protect your dog, please keep it on a leash!

It was a funny event...it was crazy, but it was interesting! LOL!!

I just wanted you to know that sometimes, parks are a good place to un leash your dog. If you can keep your dog under control then I see no reason why you can't let it off the leash for a while to get some excersize
This is a good tip. Take your dog to the park and find a big field or, better yet, a big, fenced in baseball field. Take your dog there and let it run free under your watchful eye. If you keep the dog on a leash when it is at the park, it will just get frustrated and it will almost be like having the dog chained up all the time.

What is wrong with saving a life?
There's never a time it won't be right,
So just keep it in mind next time you see,
Traces of animal cruelty
You Can stop it,
You can help,
Give those animals,
Back their help

Oh gosh, that sounds like a pretty bad situation!

That is a pretty dangerous situation for the dog, and if that Australian Shepherd was territorial, it would've been dangerous for Annie too. In other words, it could've resulted in a dog fight if both dogs were dog aggressive.

Glad that didn't happen though!
