There are so many rescues and shelters out there. Some of them are awesome and are adopter-friendly, others are not what they appear to be, and are full of pretty nasty people. To help everyone out, what are some recommended rescues/shelters people should adopt from/donate to? Horse, dog, cat- any kind of rescue. Which ones do you recommend? Why? 1.) HorseNet Horse Rescue- Full of nice people and wonderful horses www.hnhr.org 2.) Baltimore Humane Society- Full of nice, laid back people who take excellent care of their animals. www.baltimorehumane.org 3.) Bowling Green Humane Society- Full of GREAT people who try SO hard to get their animals adopted. They're animals are GREAT! http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/KY18.html Any more? | ||||||||
