Eve is sick you guys!!

I was going to ride her in my lesson today, so I went up and walked into the field to see her. She had green snot dripping from her nose. I've never seen her nose have green stuff in it before. Then she was sniffling, and swallowing- you know like when you have a cold? Then she was really congested and breathing loudly. Then she coughed up mucus and sneezed it too. Yesterday she was sneezing a bit and had a runny nose, but it wasn't as bad. I didn't even notice it. But today it was horrible she looked miserable.

Any advice??!!

Oh no! Poor Eve! I'd get the vet out right away green mucus is never a good sign! Did you take her temperature? I imagine it would be relatively high.

Get a vet out she may need antibiotics. It's not life-threatening, but it's better to be safe then sorry!

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Sounds just like a cold. Give her some baths with some herbal shampoos to clear up her sinuses. Probably from the weather changing so much.
