MCHS has LOADS of cats. I went in there a while ago and they have cats EVERYWHERE. Their little faces begging for attention, they stick their paws out and try to get your attention. They meow just to get you to look at them.

There was even a little kitten that was so scared she was meowing. How devastating! It's like a little kid all alone in a big building with no mom or dad to be with them. It's so sad. Most of their cats don't have names, only numbers. They need help!! They get euthanized more often than dogs at that shelter!

Please see their cats for adoption!

Yeah I know this isn't the best shelter to work with/adopt from, but whether or not the staff are nice, they have 30+ cats that need someone to love.  Please help!

Ponies are adored,
Horses are ignored.
Ponies are strong,
Horses don't belong.
Ponies get the love,
Horses get the shove.
Ponies are so cool,
Horses are such fools!

I'm not a fan of that shelter either, but I do like their cats. If a cat rescue/sanctuary needs to fill up with some residents, MCHS is a great place to start!
